Hello. Many of you have been contacting me for status updates. Many of you have not responded to the call for slot preferences, which has held us up, but we’re going to proceed next week either way. Here is the email that went out today to the unresponsive publications:
The following publications have not responded to this deadline as outlined below. If I do not hear from you by Monday, July 26, 5pm, we will proceed without you. You will retain your slot on the wait list, but will not be awarded any of the pending locations on Randolph and Washington. Thanks.

Hello,
The results of last week’s wait-list lottery are now posted at the web site, http://chicagonews.wordpress.com
Please review the list, as well as the recent postings, which also include important notices from the city.
The first phase of reallocation is going to focus on Randolph and Washington Streets.
By next Wednesday, June 30, please:
1. Review the current allocations on the web site vs. your records and report any discrepancies to me for investigation. After the reallocation is finished, it will be too late to raise these issues.
2. Send me either your top three choices, limited to those two streets, or let me know if you want to just hold onto your current slot and skip those streets.
